A historic building with a rich history required a thoughtful, contemporary redesign. In the former Smidt Van Gelder Museum, acoustic stretch walls and ceilings from MonaVisa were integrated as a fully-fledged design element, in complete harmony with the heritage. Between woodwork and ornamentation, acoustically printed stretch walls create a sense of tranquility without disrupting the character. Evenly lit acoustic ceilings provide focus and comfort in the workspaces. The result is a building where grandeur and tranquility converge—historically refined, contemporary, and habitable.
