Acoustic printed walls featuring natural elements bring the outdoors in and dampen disruptive noise throughout the practice. At the Roularta Business Center, editors, journalists, and creatives gather in an environment where focus is crucial. MonaVisa designed the acoustics of the reception and meeting areas, incorporating acoustic islands that dampen sound and structure movement. A historic building with a rich history required a thoughtful, contemporary redesign. In the former Smidt Van Gelder Museum, acoustic stretch walls and ceilings from MonaVisa were integrated as a fully-fledged design element, in complete harmony with the heritage. Between woodwork and ornamentation, acoustically printed stretch walls create a sense of tranquility without disrupting the character. Evenly lit acoustic ceilings provide focus and comfort in the workspaces. The result is a building where grandeur and tranquility converge—historically refined, contemporary, and habitable.
